Course Description

The Plumbing Safety & Legal Compliance Course equips learners with the knowledge and skills required to apply, monitor, and enforce safety, health, environmental, and organisational standards within plumbing operations.

This course focuses on legal compliance, risk control, environmental protection, and supervisory responsibilities specific to plumbing and construction environments. Learners will gain practical insight into managing safe plumbing work practices, supervising teams, and ensuring compliance with workplace policies, procedures, and legislation.

  • Legal framework governing plumbing work and site safety

  • Roles and responsibilities of plumbers, supervisors, and team leaders

  • Application of health, safety, and environmental protection procedures

  • Hazard identification and risk control in plumbing operations

  • Environmental protection in plumbing (waste, runoff, contamination prevention)

  • Monitoring compliance with organisational safety standards

  • Incident reporting and corrective action procedures

  • Supervisory duties and accountability for safety performance

  • Communication and enforcement of workplace procedures

  • Conducting basic inspections and safety monitoring activities
