Course Description

The Storm Water Pipe Laying Course provides learners with the practical and technical skills required to work as a pipe layer in the civil construction industry. The course focuses on the installation of underground pipelines used for storm water drainage and related infrastructure projects.

Learners will gain knowledge and hands-on skills in interpreting drawings, preparing work areas, excavation techniques, pipe installation, testing, and backfilling. The course applies to pipelines constructed from concrete, steel, and plastic, commonly used in highways, drainage systems, airfields, and civil developments.
