Course Description

This accredited course provides learners with the knowledge and practical understanding required to perform the duties of a Fire Marshal (Fire Warden) in the workplace. The training focuses on fire prevention, identification of fire hazards, emergency procedures, evacuation coordination, and the correct use of firefighting equipment. Learners will be equipped to assist with fire emergencies, support safe evacuations, and promote fire safety compliance in the workplace.

  • Legal and workplace requirements for fire safety

  • Roles and responsibilities of a Fire Marshal

  • Fire chemistry and classes of fire

  • Fire hazard identification and prevention measures

  • Emergency procedures and evacuation coordination

  • Use and limitations of firefighting equipment

  • Fire alarms, signage, and emergency communication

  • Assisting occupants during emergencies

  • Post-incident procedures and reporting
